If I argue with my aunt about how racist she's being it's not because I expect her to change her mind. It's because I'm hoping to god my cousin's kids hear and learn that maybe skin color doesn't mean what she says it means.

Been using #GodotEngine for all my own stuff the last few years, but this week I'm at a gamejam and we're using Unity and I just can't believe how much more frustrating it is for almost all the things I want to do, and is somehow getting worse? It no longer supports debugging in VScode? That's madness.
Tiktok has taught me the interaction pattern that I can like a thing many times to indicate the amount I like the thing, presumably so the algorithm feeds me more similar content, but now I keep expecting to use that behaviour pattern on other platforms that don't support it

mastodon would do so much better if they'd just call instances "neighborhoods" and said that you should pick your neighborhood based on your interests, so that if you look out your window you'll see your neighbors doing things you find interesting. and that it's okay if you find out you don't like your neighborhood, because you can just move to another one! and all your followers will move with you

Visa extension approved. I'm allowed to stay in Sweden for another two years! Not that there was any reason to expect that it wouldn't be approved but it's still a relief. Still not entirely real that I've been here two years already.
Deleted tiktok and twitter off my phone just to remove the automatic dopamine scrolling behaviour and immediately crashed my brain by going to tweet about it. Unfortunately now Fedi gets my inanity instead.
